Rep. Mia Love (R-Utah) issued the following statement following the killing of five police officers in Dallas:
“This has been a terrible week of violence in our nation and in our state. Our hearts go out to all those connected to the Dallas law enforcement shootings. “
“Today, I am urging my friends, family, neighbors and fellow Americans to focus on what really matters, the value of human life. We have the power and the ability to unite and change the course of the nation. The only way we can find our way out of the morass of this poisonous environment is to come together as a nation, and declare that we are better than this. We will put value of life ahead of all else. “
