Howell says they’re expanding their slate of debates around the state this year, and will have contests from Utah State University in Logan to Dixie State University in Southern Utah and multiple schools in between.
Howell also explains why the debate commission declined to push for debates during the 2016 primary elections.
Plus, he reveals Utah was nearly picked to host one of the presidential debates during the 2016 election cycle, and has been tapped as a likely host of a presidential contest in 2020.
