Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson and his running mate Bill Weld will make a campaign stop in Utah on Saturday at the University of Utah.
The Johnson/Weld ticket will headline a rally at the University from 2-4 on Saturday. They’ll be joined by State Senator Mark Madsen, who recently announced he would leave the Republican Party because of his disgust with Donald Trump as the GOP nominee. Madsen is retiring from the Legislature after this year.
In the latest UtahPolicy.com survey, Johnson gets 10% support from Utah voters. Donald Trump leads with 36% while Democrat Hillary Clinton is at 27%.
