Fourth Congressional District candidate Doug Owens introduced his new plan to help Utah businesses create more good-paying jobs and strengthen our state’s economy.
The first plank of Owens’ plan to help businesses by working in Congress to eliminate unnecessary and burdensome regulations that hurt local businesses.
“I know first-hand the impact that Washington can have on businesses here in Utah. I understand what government can do to help businesses grow, and also when government should just get out of the way,” Owens said. “I have been standing up for hard-working Utahns and Utah businesses my entire career, and I am going to take that same fight to Congress.”
Doug Owens is a Salt Lake City native, husband, and father of four. As a highly-respected business defense attorney, he has 25 years’ experience helping businesses succeed. Six generations of Doug’s family have called Utah home. From those ancestors, he inherited the values he’ll take to Washington: hard work, concern for his neighbors, an appreciation for Utah’s unique beauty, and a desire to get things done.
