Donald Trump, Jr. to Hold High-Dollar Fundraiser in Utah Next Week

Donald Trump JrDonald Trump, Jr. is coming to Salt Lake City next Wednesday to fundraise for his father’s presidential campaign.

Tickets for the event range from $2,700 on the low-end for individual attendees to $100,000 per couple at the “event co-chair” level. A photo op with Trump, Jr. will cost $10,000 per couple. “Event hosts” either have to raise or donate $25,000.

Trump has a 15-point lead over Hillary Clinton in Utah according to the latest UtahPolicy.com survey as he leads the Democratic nominee 39-24%. 

Trump’s fundraising operation raised $90 million in August, its best month yet. However, that number is far behind the $143 million Clinton pulled in during the same time.

A number of prominent Utah Republicans are listed as hosts for the Utah fundraiser including Sen. Orrin Hatch, Reps. Rob Bishop, Jason Chaffetz and Chris Stewart.

Not listed on the announcement are Gov. Gary Herbert and Rep. Mia Love who have yet to endorse Trump. However, Herbert said he will be voting for the GOP nominee.
