Sherrie Swensen, Salt Lake County Clerk, announced an innovative way to access election information by texting.
Salt Lake County residents can simply text “Salt Lake” to “2Vote” (28683) on their electronic devices, and then open the link. It’s that easy.
“This texting option provides voter registration, and other important election information immediately. Since this election will be the first time many young voters will have the opportunity to vote,” said Swensen, “I hope to engage and encourage them to participate in the election with this convenient tool.”
