After years of turmoil and budget cuts, the Salt Lake Tribune finally found a local champion in Paul Huntsman.
Huntsman purchased the paper, saving one of Utah’s great institutions of journalism.
But, there’s reason to be wary of the purchase, too. Huntsman’s brother, Jon Huntsman, is rumored to be readying a run for U.S. Senate in 2018. If that happens, it could present one whopper of a conflict of interest for the paper.
