Utah.Gov finishes the year once again as one of the most honored government websites. Utah’s online services were recognized with 20 awards in 2016.
“We are honored to be recognized for the services we provide for Utah residents,” said Mike Hussey, Utah Chief Information Officer. “We really build the online services to help residents get more from state government.”
Just a few of the highlights include:
- The Utah-based Best of State Awards recognized the Utah Hunting and Fishing Mobile application, which helps hunters and anglers digitally carry licenses and view hunting information, with a Best of State award in its Sport’s and Recreation Products category.
- The World Marketing Effectiveness Summit Awards awarded a Best of Category award for how Utah.Gov introduced the Utah.Gov Amazon Echo skill that prepares residents of Utah for the driver license exam.
- Utah.Gov, the official online source for state information, received Gold Awards for superior design from the Stevie Awards, MarCom Awards, Davey Awards, and AVA Awards.
Utah online services have received 188 awards since 1996 making it one of the most recognized states for providing useful services to residents.
