Chamber joins 25k Jobs in 25 Counties Tour in Morgan

In response to Governor Herbert’s call to action in his State of the State, and a legislative resolution key partners are uniting behind a goal of creating 25,000 new jobs in the 25 counties off the Wasatch Front over the next four years.

Lieutenant Governor Cox, Rural Partnership Board, private sector and the legislature are working to ensure that all Utahns have the same economic opportunities. This initiative brings partners from all corners of the state to engage with rural communities to help solve some of the challenges those communities face. The tour kicked off in Morgan County to help businesses adapt and grow in an expanding economy. Whether you work for a company, are looking for a job, or are just an interested resident, the 25k Jobs in 25 Counties Tour is working to create jobs and new business right here in Morgan County.

It was great to connect with the Morgan Chamber of Commerce who is working to grow the chamber and bring more business and economic development.

The 25k Jobs in 25 Counties Tour is presented by Lieutenant Governor Spencer J. Cox and World Trade Center Utah and sponsored by EDCUtah, the Department of Workforce Services, Zions Bank, the Salt Lake Chamber, USTAR, Utah Department of Agriculture and Food and the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.
