Congressman Rob Bishop (UT-01) released the following statement regarding the death of a Utah National Guardsman and the injuries sustained by others during combat operations in Afghanistan:
“I am grateful to all who put their lives at risk in the defense of our nation and freedom. At this time, I pray for the family of the Utah National Guardsman whose life was lost in Afghanistan, as well as the other service members who were injured during this operation.”
