Register now for Governor Herbert’s trade mission to Mexico

World Trade Center Utah, in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, is coordinating an official state trade mission to Mexico, led by Governor Gary R. Herbert.

With 120 million people and a GDP of approximately $1.33 trillion, Mexico offers tremendous opportunities for Utah companies interested in increasing their footprint in Latin America.

The trade mission will take place the business week of April 9 through April 13, 2018. This does not include travel dates (April 7, 14) or the cultural day (April 8).

This international trade mission will give delegates seeking business opportunities in Mexico unparalleled, exclusive access to companies, government agencies and officials in the market.

Registration for the trade mission is now open! The deadline to register for the trade mission is Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

COST

Required Fees

Participation fee: There is a required $800 participation fee for each company participant who attends the trade mission. This cost includes:

  • Some meals
  • Ground transportation
  • All official trade mission events and materials

Additional Costs

Lodging: Participants have the option of staying at the trade delegation hotel for the negotiated rate from April 7 through 14 (seven nights): $225.15 per night for single (including tax and breakfast) or $227.32 per night for double (including tax and breakfast). Participants should select this option when registering.

Participants who choose NOT to stay at the trade delegation hotel are responsible for booking their own accommodations.

Flights: Participants are responsible for booking and paying for their own flights. Please refer to flight information here.

Cultural Excursion: Participants have the option of joining the trade delegation for a cultural excursion on April 8 for an additional $100.

Gold Key: The U.S. Commercial Service’s Gold Key Service is an additional cost.
