Two dozen candidates file to run for Utah GOP Vice-Chair

A whopping 24 candidates have filed to run for the vacant Utah GOP vice-chair office.

The party leadership post opened when Joni Crane stepped down in April to run for elected office in Uintah County.

Among the declared candidates is former party chair James Evans who lost his bid for a third term as the head of the party last year.

The 24 candidates vying to replace Crane are:

Crane’s replacement will be chosen at the party’s State Central Committee meeting on May 19.
