Call for nominations – EDCUtah Annual Leadership in Economic Development Awards

On September 11, the Economic Development Corporation of Utah will recognize two individuals and one organization that have made a significant impact on the economic landscape of Utah. Nominations are now open for the following recognition:

Nick Rose Award for Leadership in Economic Development: This award is given to a private-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous Award Recipients have included Alan Rindlisbacher of Layton Companies, Derek Miller of the World Trade Center Utah, and Lew Cramer of Coldwell Banker Commercial Advisors.

Thayne Robson Award for Leadership in Economic Development: This award is given to a public-sector individual that has demonstrated exceptional dedication to EDCUtah, and economic development throughout the state. Previous Award Recipients have included Governor Gary R. Herbert, Mayor John Curtis of Provo City, and Mayor Tom Dolan of Sandy City.

Cornerstone in Economic Development Award: This award is given to associations, organizations, or developments that have merit far beyond their own boundaries and have had profound and long-term positive impact on the state’s economy. Past Award Recipients are Utah Jazz Legacy Trust and City Creek Reserve.
