SLCC offering classes in Herriman this fall

Salt Lake Community College is offering classes in Herriman for its 2018 fall semester. General education courses in seven categories will be held at the former Herriman City Hall building, 13011 South Pioneer Street.

The hours of operation for the Herriman Center will be 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The new SLCC site has eight classrooms that will also house various student service functions, including a one-stop Student Services area, video conferencing for remote advising, student study spaces, full faculty support and free parking.

Students have already begun enrolling for classes, which start Aug. 22. With the opening of the Herriman Center, SLCC is supporting the college’s vision to strengthen the communities it serves through access to higher education. In recent years, SLCC has opened the Center for Arts & Media at its South City Campus and the West Valley Center site, and this fall it will also open the new Westpointe Workforce Training & Education Center in Salt Lake City.
