Martin O’Malley, former Democratic Governor of Maryland and 2016 presidential candidate is in Utah to campaign for Ben McAdams and Shireen Ghorbani.
O’Malley joins Managing Editor Bryan Schott to discuss the 2018 midterm elections. He thinks Democrats are poised to win control of at least one part of Congress, which will allow them to serve as a vital check on the White House.
He also discusses the controversy surrounding Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, saying the “braggadocious masculinity” and casual dismissal of the allegations against Kavanaugh are poisoning our political discourse.
