Utah’s population along the Wasatch Front is expected to double within the next 20 years. Policymakers are working to come up with a plan to house all of those people.
At the same time, cities are trying to find ways to make housing more affordable for Utahns.
For the first time in Utah there are more families wanting to buy homes than there are homes available, which is causing a major shift in how municipalities and homebuilders are thinking about housing, land use and development.
