The long-simmering feud between Mitt Romney and Donald Trump flared up again after Romney penned a blistering op-ed slamming Trump’s character.
The two had called a truce earlier this year when Trump endorsed Romney in the 2018 election. That came after Trump pushed Orrin Hatch to not retire from the Senate in an effort to keep Romney out of the U.S. Senate race.
The two have a love/hate relationship, as Romney sought out Trump’s endorsement during his 2012 presidential run but then slammed Trump during the 2016 race.
