Situational awareness – February 19, 2019

Good Tuesday morning from Salt Lake City.

Tuesday’s news at a glance: Utahns want to keep the ban on trucks on the Legacy Highway. Bernie Sanders is again running for president. 16 states sue to block President Donald Trump’s emergency declaration.

Friday trivia winners: Clint Warby’s question befuddled most of our readers. The Richards family from Parowan produced Utah’s first state official – Morgan Richards who was state auditor from 1896 to 1901 and his son Alma, who won the Olympic gold medal in the high jump in 1912.

Only two readers submitted the correct answer:

Mike Mower (3 in a row for him) and Charlie Roberts.
