Every year, the Salt Lake Chamber recognizes an individual who has had an immeasurable impact on Utah and our communities as A Giant In Our City–one of the most distinguished business recognitions offered in the state of Utah. This year, the Chamber has the pleasure of having former presidential candidate and Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney as the featured keynote speaker for the Giant In Our City gala.
The award is presented by the Salt Lake Chamber, Utah’s largest and longest-serving statewide business association, and is recognized as the most prestigious business award given in Utah. With the help of Romney, the Chamber will recognize former Utah governor Michael O. Leavitt as the 35th Giant In Our City on April 10.
“It is our distinct honor and privilege to honor this dedicated statesman as a Giant,” said Lane Beattie, Salt Lake Chamber president and CEO. Gov. Leavitt has changed the lives of millions of people in our state, and even our country, for the better.
The Giant In Our City gala will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2014, starting with a 6 p.m. reception at the Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City.
The Chamber invites you to join us for this momentous occasion. You don’t want to miss out on this remarkable evening honoring one of Utah’s best, so be sure to reserve your seat now.
