The Governor’s Office of Economic Development is sponsoring the annual Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) Symposium on Oct. 16 at the Salt Lake Community College in Sandy, Utah (Miller Campus). Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., and the Symposium starts at 8 a.m.

The theme of the 2019 PTAC Symposium is “Gaining the Edge in a Changing Landscape.”

“The symposium is a great opportunity to learn more about the ins-and-outs of government contracting and what it takes to be successful in this arena. Come listen to informative breakout sessions, participate in networking opportunities and learn from a noteworthy keynote speaker, Joshua Frank,” says Chuck Spence, director of Utah’s Procurement Technical Assistance Centers (PTAC).

Symposium attendees can choose from three different breakout sessions: “PTAC 101”, “How Award Decisions are Made,” and “Pathways to Success” while participating in a variety of networking opportunities.

In addition to hearing from best-selling author and keynote speaker, Joshua Frank, CEO of RSM Federal, the Symposium features over 50 exhibitors from the Department of Defense, federal, state, city, county, local school districts, and prime defense contractors.
