Inside Romney’s Utah Retreat

The Washington Post previews Mitt Romney’s third annual policy summit this summer in Park City, which will offer an opportunity for several GOP presidential contenders to introduce themselves to Romney’s network.

Reports Robert Costa:

On Sunday, The Washington Post obtained a partial list of the more than 200 people scheduled to attend the conference, which will take place June 12-14. It features a mix of politicos, Wall Street titans, former government officials, entrepreneurs, and even sports figures, such as Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, who is slated to deliver a talk.

In background conversations, organizers acknowledged that most of the attendees will lean Republican, but said the conference’s discussions would not serve a partisan agenda. Instead they described the event as a “leadership retreat” for Romney’s circle of friends and associates, including Sacramento mayor Kevin Johnson, a Democrat.
