Steven R. Smith, CPA has been elected Managing Partner of Wisan, Smith, Racker & Prescott, LLP. Steve took over the day to day management of the firm effective August 4th.
 He will replace Bruce R. Wisan who is retiring from the firm effective August 7, 2014. Bruce was an original founder of the firm on January 1, 1985 and has been the driving force of its growth and development.
Steve co-founded WSRP and managed the firm’s audit practice prior to becoming Managing Partner of the firm. He specializes in auditing, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and systems consulting. His industry experience includes construction, manufacturing, wholesale and retail distribution, real estate development, technology, and non-profit organizations.
A graduate of Utah State University with a degree in accounting, Steve is active in several professional accounting organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Construction Financial Management Association and the Utah Manufacturers Association. Steve is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Utah.
