Dueling Polls from Love and Owens Campaigns Show Vastly Different Results

There are two sides to every story, and the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Democrat Doug Owens and Republican Mia Love each released internal polling with vastly different results on Thursday morning.

Owens' poll shows him down a mere three-points to Love.

Meanwhile, Love's campaign released their own internal poll showing the Republican with a much larger lead. While it's not an apples-to-apples comparison, if you add in the voters who are leaning one way or the other, this poll shows Love with a 19-point lead.

Owens poll left out third-party and independent candidates, which often skews results.

The last independent poll conducted by UtahPolicy.com in August showed Love with a 12-point lead over Owens.
