Rep. Jason Chaffetz has a whopping 51-point lead over Democrat Brian Wonnacott in Utah's 3rd District.
Our UtahPolicy.com poll conducted by Dan Jones and Associates finds Chaffetz with a commanding lead (70-19%) over his Democratic opponent as he moves toward a 4th term in Congress.
Chaffetz wins Republicans (91-3%) and independent voters (58-26%), while Wonnacott is ahead among Democrats, but only by a 69-8% margin.
Wonnacott is winning voters 25-34 years of age by a 58-17% margin over Chaffetz, while Chaffetz is ahead in every other age group.
A study by Ballotpedia found the average margin of victory in all Congressional elections in 2012 was 31.85%.
The survey was conducted among 219 active voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 6.62%.
