There is no better way to get to know the Women’s Business Centers than to introduce you to our clients!
Their success is our success and we invite you to watch each video as it comes out over the next few weeks. Hear personal stories of local women who dared to become entrepreneurs and how they feel about help from the Women’s Business Center.
Meet Cindy Johnson, the creator of Hair Love, a full-service salon and wig supply company with experienced stylists who offer creative hair replacement solutions. She came to the center four years ago with a dream of not just to work at a salon, but own it.
Cindy finished a business and marketing plan and cash flow projections, got funded and opened her salon in West Valley. Earlier this week she opened her second location near the University of Utah.
You go girl!
You’ll also meet Evette Alldredge, owner of Super Gym Gymnastics and four other amazing WBC Clients. These stories are a sampling of the 237 clients we met with this past year, each receiving individual assistance to make their dream a reality.
Help spread the word about women entrepreneurs and their personal success stories. We are smart women who support and celebrate each other. Like and share them with your friends.
TELL YOUR STORY
Women business owners, we invite you to share your story too! Post a short paragraph about how you started and run your business. At the end simply add “This Is Me!” and what you have accomplished with the Women’s Business Center or other local resources.

ABOUT THE WOMEN’S BUSINESS CENTER
The Salt Lake Chamber Women’s Business Center was established in 1997 as an entrepreneurial center to assist women start and grow successful businesses through consulting, training and networking. The center receives a federal grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration to help fund the center, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
As a staff of three, we have helped clients perform market research, refine business plans, project future cash flow, explore international trade and we have led them through government contracting registration and certification. Every consultation is free, no matter how many times.
Our goal is to empower women to be skilled and agile business owners who perpetuate the American dream and drive prosperity in the great state of Utah!
