City Launches New Digital App Featuring Easy Access to Services, Reporting and More

Salt Lake city announces a new, multi-platform free digital application that creates 24/7 access to City services and a host of helpful information for residents and visitors.

SLC Mobile is primarily a smartphone application but can also be accessed from a desktop computer and allows users to engage with a wide variety of City services and information including reporting problems like a burned-out streetlight, needed road repair, a graffiti incident and much more, including:
  • electronic payment of City water bills
  • access to detailed maps for City biking and hiking trails
  • event calendar
  • locations of City parks and open space, bikeshare stations, electric vehicle charging stations and alternative fuel locations
  • City job listings
Resident-generated reports take advantage of smartphone GIS technology and are automatically directed to the appropriate City department. SLC mobile also incorporates automated notification to let users know that the issue is being addressed.
