In conjunction with the success we had at the State Central Committee Meeting on May 30th, 2015, it is my pleasure to announce that House Speaker Greg Hughes has graciously agreed to lead the Chairman’s Circle, which is our highest donor level.
I look forward to Speaker Hughes' exemplary leadership in this new role and I’m confident we will be more successful in 2016 as a result of his additional involvement.
Speaker Hughes’ record of achievement in the Utah House of Representatives spans clear back to 2003. Throughout his legislative service, Hughes has been able to gain the trust of his fellow Republican lawmakers and build coalitions with all branches of the Party. He was elected Speaker for the 2015-2016 legislative term and has proven his ability to lead effectively in the face of challenging political issues. Hughes has been a stalwart supporter of the Party and we are grateful for his willingness to help ensure that we’re fully prepared for 2016.
