Automatic budget cuts from sequestration will have a big impact in a number of Utah counties.

A new analysis from Financial Times and the Center for Public Integrity breaks out how much the cuts cost per capita in lost federal funding.

Here’s how the financial hit works out for each person in a number of counties across Utah:

  • Box Elder – $737.41
  • Dagget County – $656.85
  • San Juan County – $369.84
  • Grand County – 349.83
  • Davis County – $318.40
  • Garfield County – $291.02
  • Salt Lake County – $241.72
  • Piute County – $231.81
  • Weber County – $162.85
  • Utah County – $109.22

The numbers were based on a projected 5% loss in local federal spending.
