The Utah Department of Technology Services announced Utah.Gov was presented with a Gold Stevie® Award in the Non-Profit Organizations category in The 13th Annual American Business Awards.
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in a wide range of categories. With years of experience studying visitor needs and delivering award-winning online solutions, Utah.Gov redesigned the website to enable residents to conduct vital business with state government quickly and easily.
“We saw how residents of Utah wanted to interact with state government and created a website that fits the state’s vision," said Mark VanOrden, Chief Information Officer Utah Department of Technology Services. "We are proud to see the site recognized for its benefits to business and residents.”
Since 2002 the Gold Stevie Award has been conferred for achievement in business to organizations and individuals in more than 60 nations.
“We are extremely impressed with the quality of the entries we received this year. The competition was intense and every organization that won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. “To those outstanding individuals and organizations that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Awards, the judges and I are honored to celebrate your many accomplishments. You are setting a high standard for professionals nationwide.”
