The Utah Democratic Party offers condolences to the Wilde family upon the passing of former Salt Lake County Council Member David Wilde.
Utah Democratic Party Chair and former Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon offered his own personal comments, "Councilman Wilde was a man of strong convictions. He believed deeply in finding ways to improve his community. He also believed in being a good steward of the taxpayer dollars. While we sat on opposite sides of the political aisle, we became friends during my eight-year term as mayor. He will be missed."
