WTC Utah to Recognize Southern Utah Businesses Forging the Way in International Business

In anticipation of the upcoming Southern Utah International Business Forum, World Trade Center Utah (WTC Utah) is requesting nominations for the Champion for International Business Award and for the Vanguard in International Business Award. 

 
A successful candidate for the Vanguard in International Business Award meets the following criteria:
  • Utah-based business headquartered in one of the following counties: Beaver, Iron, Garfield, Kane and Washington.
  • Has successfully exported for at least one year.
  • Has potential for increased export activity.
A successful candidate for the Champion for International Business Award meets the following criteria:
  • An individual from Beaver, Iron, Garfield, Kane, or Washington County who supports and advocates for businesses expanding into international markets. 
The awards will be presented by WTC Utah, in partnership with the Department of Workforce Services, at the Southern Utah International Business Forum. The forum will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 on the Southern Utah University campus in Cedar City, Utah.
 
Lieutenant Governor Spencer J. Cox will deliver the keynote address. Following his remarks, local business leaders will discuss “Lessons Learned” from doing business internationally in a panel-style format. 
 
The Southern Utah International Business Forum serves those located in Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane and Washington County.
