Republican Jonathan Johnson is first out of the gate in the 2016 election media wars with a radio ad critical of the Utah Transit Authority.
The ad, which is running on a number of radio stations in Utah for the next few days takes direct aim at the public relations problems suffered by the beleaguered agency.
“Doesn’t the Utah Transit Authority seem to be Utah’s problem child?” says Johnson in the ad. “Frankly, if you ask most Utah voters, they probably trust the UTA about as much as they trust the IRS.”
Johnson’s campaign declined to say how much they spent on the ad buy.
