Lane Beattie, president and CEO of the Salt Lake Chamber, issued the following statement regarding the conclusion of the 2016 Legislative Session:
“As we close this legislative session, I would like to share how inspired I am by the impactful and thoughtful leaders within our community. On behalf of the Salt Lake Chamber, and the members we represent, I express sincere appreciation for the work of the 2016 State Legislature.
“In the 12 years I have spent as president of the Chamber no other session has generated such a level of engagement within our business community. It is vital and evident that this type of engagement must continue if we are retain Utah’s ranking as the “best state for business.”
“We look forward to continued collaboration with our state’s lawmakers.”
