The Utah gubernatorial primary race between Gary Herbert and Jonathan Johnson is turning into a slap fight as the two candidates trade barbs over fundraising. 
 
Polling shows Herbert’s favorable ratings are still very high while Johnson is struggling to build name recognition. We discuss Johnson’s strategy and very narrow path to victory.
 
It looks like the sale of the Salt Lake Tribune to Paul Huntsman is going through. A new poll finds about a third of Utahns support the sale, but most residents want the paper to keep publishing.
