Developing your diversity and inclusion playbook

Salt Lake Chamber and SixFifty Technologies to host webinar on getting diversity and inclusion programs off the ground

Many organizations want to create diverse and inclusive workplaces, but don’t know where to start or what steps are permissible under the law. The Salt Lake Chamber, in partnership with SixFifty Technologies, will host a webinar on how organizations can get diversity and inclusion programs off the ground while complying with the law.

During the webinar, attendees will hear from a panel of lawyers and diversity leaders with experience turning good intentions into results.

Questions to be covered include:

  • How has the pandemic affected Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)?
  • What do Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion mean in the context of a business?
  • Why is DEI important, and why should businesses prioritize it?
  • What are some common barriers that you have seen to developing diversity and inclusion programs within organizations?
  • How do you recommend we get the entire company on board with diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives?
  • What are the legal ramifications we should consider when implementing new DEI programs?
  • When looking at hiring specifically. What do you recommend we do to get a more diverse pool of candidates?
  • Are there resources locally or nationally that you would recommend to help get DEI programs off the ground?
