Rep. Clancy to host city council candidate forum for Provo residents

Utah. Representative Tyler Clancy will be hosting a forum for city council candidates on Thursday, June 29th, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. This event aims to provide a platform for the community to engage with the candidates and gain valuable insights into their vision and goals for the city’s future.

The forum will be held in the Bullock Room at the Provo Library (550 N University Ave, Provo, UT 84601). With the upcoming city council elections, this event offers an exceptional opportunity for Provo residents to learn more about the candidates’ ideas, policies, and strategies to address the city’s most pressing issues. The event will allow candidates to address key topics, respond to questions from the audience, and present their ideas on how to improve the community. Candidates will have tables set up for further discussion following the event.

“An informed electorate is crucial for a thriving republic. This forum provides a platform for our neighbors to actively participate in the political process and make informed decisions come election day,” said Clancy. “My hope in hosting this event is to facilitate open dialogue between the prospective candidates and the citizens of Provo, build community trust, and create a more responsive government.”

The event is free of charge, open to the public, and all Provo residents are encouraged to attend. It offers a unique opportunity to engage with the candidates on a personal level and gain a deeper understanding of their positions on issues that matter to Provo.
