Today, Senator Daniel Thatcher (SD 11, Forward Party of Utah) will unveil the details of a congressional map of his authorship that complies with requirements set forth in Federal and State law, and recently affirmed in Judge Gipson’s ruling. He will outline why he believes the map is balanced, non-partisan, and simple. Members of the press and public will have the opportunity to ask questions, and public feedback will be encouraged during and after the event.

The current draft of the map is available for review by logging into the ARC-GIS interface provided via https://redistricting.utah.gov/. Select Open Maps and look for the plan name titled “Congress.” Members of the public and press are encouraged to share feedback by emailing [email protected].
