Another poll shows GOP nominee Donald Trump struggling mightily in Utah.
The latest survey from Monmouth University gives Trump a 34-28% lead over Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Independent candidate Evan McMullin gets 20%, while Libertarian Gary Johnson is at 9%.
The poll was conducted after a tape of Trump making lurid statements about groping women went public on Friday, but before a number of women came forward with stories on Wednesday of Trump making unwanted advances on them.
The Access Hollywood tape proved to be a bridge too far for many Utah Republicans, as they dropped their support for Trump after it became national news.
The new survey is on the heels of a Y2 Analytics survey from Wednesday showing Trump and Clinton tied in Utah at 26%, with McMullin at 22%.
