BioUtah, Utah’s one and only association dedicated to the life sciences community, announced that registration is open for the 8th Annual Utah Life Sciences Summit (ULSS), the premier conference for Utah companies on the front lines of medical innovation.

The ULSS will host a distinguished group of speakers and panelists, including industry leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, economic analysts, educators and policymakers. Headline speakers include Governor Gary Herbert, Tom Polen, President of BD Medical and Michael Phillips, M.D., Chief Clinical and Outreach Services Officer at Intermountain Healthcare. Luncheon keynote speaker, Natalie Gochnour, Associate Dean at the David Eccles School of Business and Director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, will talk about an important new study examining the impact of the life sciences industry on the State’s economy. The popular “Speed Dating” session will return, allowing start-up companies to interact with and pitch to seasoned investors. There will also be two specialized tracks focused on regulatory, quality and compliance hot topics, and a primer for engineers on medical innovation.
