Gov. Gary R. Herbert has appointed Angela F. Fonnesbeck as a judge for the First District Court.
“Judge Fonnesbeck has been a tremendous asset to the First District Juvenile Court and I have no doubt that she will continue to work energetically in this new position,” Gov. Herbert said. “Her vast experience and dedication to the law will serve her well.”
Fonnesbeck most recently served as a judge on the First District Juvenile Court. She established her own private practice in 2009. She also has a wealth of experience as a public defender. She holds a J.D. from the Washington College of Law at the American University and received a double B.A. in Politics and Asian Studies at Whitman College.
