Karen Pence, the wife of Vice-President Mike Pence, will visit Utah on Friday to file paperwork to put the Trump/Pence campaign on the 2020 Utah presidential primary ballot.
A press release from the campaign indicates the second lady will visit the State Capitol that day to officially file for the March “Super Tuesday” primary.
Sources with knowledge indicate that at that time Sen. Mike Lee will be named one of the co-chairs of the Trump/Pence campaign in Utah.
On the Democratic side, only Sens. Kamala Harris and Amy Klobuchar have filed for their party’s statewide Utah primary in March.
