Leslie Reberg is honored with Eleanor Roosevelt award

For the last 27 years, the Utah Democratic Party has honored a woman who embodies the qualities of courage, compassion, and dedication of legendary Democratic Eleanor Roosevelt. This year the award goes to Leslie Reberg.

Leslie has been a fixture in Utah politics for 34 years, working on 18 campaigns and only missing two election cycles. There have been wins and there have been losses, but nothing has stopped Leslie from working hard to elect good people who make Utah a better place.

Most recently, she helped to flip the Salt Lake County Recorder’s office from red to blue with the election of Rashelle Hobbes in 2018, and helped re-elect Hobbes to a full term this year. Leslie now serves as the Chief Deputy to Rashelle.

While Leslie has accomplished so much for our community, Leslie’s proudest accomplishments have been raising her daughter Kaite and mentoring the next generation of organizers, public servants, and policymakers.

We hope you will join us, virtually, on November 30 at 12:00 pm to celebrate Leslie and all of her accomplishments in our community at the 27th Annual Eleanor Roosevelt Luncheon.
