Utah’s population will almost double by 2050. Utah will not.
"We’re going to have growth that takes place here in the state of Utah. The thing for us to do is anticipate it, prepare for it … [and] reflect the will of the people," Governor Gary Herbert said as he announced the new Build Your 2050 Utah web app.
What you can do
You’re invited to participate in the Your Utah Your Future project. You can begin by playing the Build Your 2050 Utah game where you’ll be able to make choices about Utah’s future, watch them come to life, and share your voice. Afterwards, you’ll have a chance to invite those in your social networks to do the same.
