Poll: Utahns Think State is on the Right Track

Utahns generally agree that the state is on the right track.

A new UtahPolicy.com survey finds nearly ¾ of Utahns think the state is headed in the right direction while just one in five think things are not.

Why wouldn’t they? Utah’s economy continues to roar along, and the state’s unemployment rate is a paltry 3.5%.

Most of the dissent about the state’s direction comes from Democrats. Just 46% of Utah Dems think the state is on the right track. Meanwhile 85% of Republicans and 70% of independent voters say things are going swimmingly.

The survey was conducted by Dan Jones and Associates from December 22, 2014 to January 10, 2015 among 715 Utah voters. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.66%.
