Rep. Chris Stewart on the GOP-Congress, Harry Reid’s Retirement and 2016 (Podcast)

Rep. Chris Stewart, R-Utah, sits down with Managing Editor Bryan Schott to discuss whether the GOP controlled Congress will be able to accomplish anything and how the retirement of Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nevada, may change the landscape in Washington.

Stewart says Reid is nearly as powerful as minority leader as he was when he was in the majority in the last Congress, meaning he's able to bottle up legislation he disagrees with.

Stewart also says there are some potential candidates in the 2016 Republican field that have piqued his interest, including former Texas Governor Rick Perry, Florida Senator Marco Rubio and Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
