Salt Lake City Mayoral Contest Poll Coming Wednesday Morning

Wednesday morning at 10 am, UtahPolicy.com will release a poll on the race for Salt Lake City Mayor.

The Dan Jones & Associates survey will take stock of the primary election race, which features five candidates.

The last public poll of the race was in April of this year during the time when Sen. Jim Dabakis abruptly entered, then dropped out of the race.

That survey found incumbent Ralph Becker with 33% support. Jackie Biskupski had 12%, and Luke Garrott was at 9%. 29% were undecided.

Since then two candidates, George Chapman and Dave Robinson, have entered the race.

In the ensuing period, Ralph Becker forced out former Salt Lake City Police Chief Chris Burbank due to a sexual harassment case in the Salt Lake Police Department.

What effect will these changes have on the race? We will find out tomorrow morning at 10 am.
