Holly Richardson Declares Candidacy for Utah State Senate

Holly RichardsonRepublican Holly Richardson formally announced her candidacy for the open seat in Senate District 14. Current Senator Al Jackson will not be seeking re-election.

“Over the course of this campaign, we will have many opportunities to talk about policy, but today, I want to share the type of leader I believe we need,” said Richardson. “We need leaders who listen, not lecture. We need leaders who look for solutions, not just the next soundbite. We need leaders who understand that diversity and differences make for a richer, more robust conversation and are to be welcomed at the table. I have a track record of doing just that and would be honored to represent the many voices of Senate District 14 on Utah’s Capitol Hill.”

She has gained unparalleled experience through a wide range of public service, resulting in a deep reservoir of knowledge,” said Senator Deidre Henderson. “Residents of Senate District 14 will be well served by her fearless leadership, commitment to conservative principles, and thoughtful approach to issues.
