Congresswoman Mia Love has the rare honor of being awarded the Marilyn Musgrave Defender of Life Award from the Susan B. Anthony List.
This award is given annually, based on courageous leadership in the effort to protect women and unborn children.
“As a freshman in Congress, Mia Love was quick to take the lead in defending unborn children and mothers,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List. “Rep. Love’s moving call to put an end to the barbaric baby organ trade resounded in hearts and minds across the country through her media interviews and House floor speeches. She backed her words with action in taking a leading role on the House Select Panel on Infant Lives. We are thrilled to present her with the Marilyn Musgrave Defender of Life Award in recognition of the passion and dedication she advances for the pro-life cause.”
“I am both humbled and honored to receive the Marilyn Musgrave Defender of Life Award,”Congresswoman Mia Love said. “As a society, we must defend and protect the most vulnerable among us, the unborn. I am committed to doing whatever I can to make sure these precious little ones are given a voice.”
Rep. Love continued: “I will continue to work tirelessly with members of the Pro-Life Caucus to ensure that the values we Utahns hold dear, particularly the right to life, are upheld and defended.”
