A new national survey finds more than half of Republican voters think Donald Trump will ban Muslims and build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico if he’s elected president in November.
Morning Consult found that 46% of all Americans, and 57% of Republican voters say Trump will enact his proposed ban on Muslims entering the country. Just 31% said they did not think he would be able to institute that ban.
Trump has also promised to build a wall between the U.S. and Mexico, and said he will make Mexico pay for the barrier. 44% of all Americans and 61% of Republicans say he will deliver on that promise, but only 29% of Americans think Mexico will pay for it.
On the Democratic side, presumptive nominee Hillary Clinton has called for a $12/hour minimum wage. About half of Americans (49%) say she will be able to make that a reality.
