The Utah House Majority Caucus released its 2026 Policy Priorities, highlighting common-sense, conservative solutions to issues that matter most to Utahns.
“We are putting families first by keeping the cost of living low, helping students excel, and strengthening public safety,” said the House Majority Caucus. “Together we will invest in Utah’s long-term strength, make government more accountable and fiscally responsible, and safeguard the natural resources we all depend on.”
The 2026 House Majority Policy Priorities include:
- Cost of Living: Keeping Utah affordable by lowering costs for Utah families and ensuring taxpayers see real value for every dollar spent.
- Strong Families: Reducing costs and barriers to raising a family so Utah families can thrive.
- Limited Government: Safeguarding Utah’s strong economy with balanced budgets, wise investments, and a commitment to living within our means.
- Infrastructure: Building Utah’s future through infrastructure that lasts.
- Accountability and Transparency: Restoring confidence in government through transparency, accountability, and a commitment to serving the people.
- Public Safety: Maintaining Utah’s high quality of life by keeping our communities among the safest in the nation.
- Education: Preparing the rising generation to lead with knowledge, integrity, and innovation.
- Water: Protecting one of Utah’s most vital resources for generations to come.
“As the people’s house, we listen to and advocate for Utahns in every community, and we heard their priorities loud and clear,” said Rep. Casey Snider, Utah House Majority Leader. “These common-sense conservative solutions reflect what families across our state need most. By championing these policies, we will strengthen Utah families, invest in our long-term prosperity, and keep Utah the best state in the nation.”
